Art historian and art critic, Professor at the West University, Faculty of Fine Arts in Timisoara, freelance curator. She curated many one-person and group exhibitions in Romania and aboad, the main project was the International Festival of Performance Art Zone (www.zonafestival.ro); among others the Romanian participation at the New Icon Biennial of Cetinje (Montenegro, 1997), at Body and the East, Ljubljana (1998), Shaping the Great City. She published books: Actionism in Romania During the Communist Era, Idea, Cluj, 2000, and with Roxana Nubert the volume Mitteleuropäische Paradigmen in Südosteuropa. Ein Beitrag zur Kultur der Deutschen im Banat, Praesens Verlag, Vienna, 2006, Timişoara between Tradition and Modernity. Artistic Pedagogy in the 20th century, the Triade Foundation & Brumar, 2006, Ştefan Bertalan, the Triade Foundation, Timişoara, 2011.
