Merzedes Sturm-Lie is a Swedish/Norwegian multimedia artist and curator who lives and works in Stockholm and Brussels. Her art practice centers around topics such as political correctness, sect-like behaviourism, death, dreams and stasis. In her performances she uses her voice and body as a tool: singing, talking, and whispering. A voice can awaken us, crack our foundations, and perhaps open a new door. Her work has been shown at several exhibitions, in Sweden, Belgium, Japan, Brazil and Russia.
